Romania Tourism: Visit Romania’s Communist Past Via The Life And Times Of Former Dictator Ceausescu.

Romania tourism is grabbing eyeballs of tourists from all over the globe due to its latest initiative. Shrouded in the mist of communalism, the past of Romania is intriguing to one and all who visit the country. Planning to exploit this history of communism the Dept of Romania Tourism announced the opening of a new tourist venture, based on the life of former Dictator Ceausescu.
Nikolai Ceausescu was the country's second and last Communist leader, he was executed in December'89. "We've kept the execution wall and it is a place in value as the place where the Ceausescu couple died," said Elena Udrea, Romania Tourism Minister.
This is being seen as one of the more recent gimmicks of Romania's Tourism Dept to boost tourism. The Ceausescu Trail is the name given by Elena Udrea, Romania Tourism Minister.
